介绍：It is with great honor and pride that I serve the students, staff, parents, and community of Kit Carson International Academy. Our vision is to provide “academic excellence for every student, every day!”

As you know, Carson has been authorized to implement the International Baccalaureate-Primary Years Program (IB-PYP). The Primary Years Program has allowed us to center on guiding questions with central themes that help create diverse, global-minded students. Our teachers create the central ideas to integrate within the six themes, the inquiries that students explore, and reflect during Professional Learning Community meetings or with the specialists during planned articulation meetings. Much growth has been seen in our students and teachers.

At Carson International Academy, we have a exceptional teaching and support staff who work tirelessly for the benefit of each and every student. We pride ourselves in being a place where our mission is to provide a rigorous, innovative, and respectful learning environment that promotes academic excellence, intercultural understanding, and social success.



I welcome you to Kit Carson and encourage you to become actively involved in the academic lives of your children. Your child has homework each day, Monday through Thursday. Please ensure that he/she is completing homework assignments each night. Homework habits begin in pre-kindergarten and build each year as your child progresses from elementary to middle school and then on to high school.
