Each of the resorts 43 rooms are cozy and comfortable with pillow-top mattresses and 300-thread count linens. Complimentary wifi is also available in every room while a small Internet lounge accommodates those without a personal computer. Each morning, guests are treated to a complimentary continental breakfast. Coffee, tea and fruit are available all day long, compliments of the hotel staff as well. There's a clothing-optional heated pool. During the warmer months of April thru November, the hotel staff throws a free poolside barbecue. There is also a steam room and video room.

Guests describe the Blue Moon Gay Resort as being "off the beaten path." Located off Interstate 15, approximately one mile from the North Strip, the location offers solace from the high-priced hustle and bustle of the Strip, but nearby attractions are limited. Some local eateries and fast food chains are within a few blocks away. While the hotel provides shuttle service to the Strip for an added fee, many guests suggest bringing a car.
